Upmarket kitchen chain Harvey Jones is to open a showroom inside Heal’s flagship Tottenham Court Road, London store as its recovery from administration continues.
The chain was bought in a pre-pack administration in February by a fund managed by RBC BlueBay Asset Management. It paid £400,0000 for the business plus agreed to honour £3.6m of customer deposits.
The new 7,200sqft showroom will feature six kitchen and home areas of its Shaker, Arbor, Linear and Hampton (pictured) ranges; a pet kitchen; utility installation; and a new collection.
The opening will be followed by another store by the end of the year and follows the refurbishment of its Chester and Hove outlets.
‘We are delighted to launch our latest flagship showroom at a premium central London location, in an iconic store that has been part of the UK’s interior design history for over two centuries. The core values of Harvey Jones and Heal’s align perfectly with design excellence and craftsmanship that transform living spaces into a beautifully functional experience,’ says Vince Gunn, Harvey Jones ceo.
‘This new opening is a strategic imperative for the Harvey Jones brand refresh we have been rolling out this year, evolving our brand positioning and extending into the wider homes space.’
