Veronique Hoflack has been elected the president of European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF), after succeeding Ruben Desmet.
Hoflack had succeeded Desmet as Unilin Flooring president, following his departure after seven years at the manufacturing group and 12 in total.
She will officially take charge of the division on 1 March. She in turn was succeeded as Unilin panels president by Bert Vandenkendelaere, sales and marketing director.
Hoflack will complete Desmet’s 2025–2027 EPLF term of office.
‘This mandate represents both continuity and a fresh opportunity to strengthen our collective voice at a time of economic uncertainty and regulatory change. I look forward to working closely with the board and our members to promote the value of European-made laminate flooring further, while advancing EPLF’s mission to support a sustainable and competitive industry,’ she says.
‘I am honoured by the trust placed in me by the EPLF members. I would like to sincerely thank Ruben for his leadership and dedication to the association, as well as all those who have contributed to EPLF’s work over the years, building a strong foundation for our sector.’
Hoflack was elected to the EPFL board in 2022 (pictured).
