Interface opens London showroom

Interface has opened a new showroom in London.

The 2,000sqft space in Clerkenwell has been designed with sustainability in mind, from the flooring and furniture, to fixtures and fittings. All elements of the showroom have been carefully specified based on their sustainability credentials. The space, created in partnership with office design specialist Morgan Lovell, also embodies the principles of biophilic design, with planting incorporated throughout which can be seen from all angles. Meanwhile, a neutral colour palette and natural materials and finishes, such as timber, come together to complement the original architecture.

The flexible, hybrid working space includes collaboration zones, quiet working areas, flooring mock-up spaces, a private phone booth and a kitchen and bar, as well as an outside terrace.

The showroom showcases Interface’s portfolio of carbon neutral products including carpet tile, LVT and nora rubber flooring which come together as a centrepiece, connecting all zones, while mirroring the ceiling and lighting grid above.

‘Clerkenwell is the heart of the design community so our new showroom really had to live up to this reputation and rich heritage. The new space is dynamic and flexible, giving us the opportunity to host a whole range of workshops, seminars and consultations for our clients,’ says Laura Light, Interface concept design team leader.
