Bathroom etailer UK Bathrooms has launched a furniture, beds, flooring and lighting online brand.
UK Home Living has been launched offering ‘free shipping within the UK’ but this is restricted to what the company describes as ‘smaller items’.
For products such as furniture, large swathes of the country are excluded including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Shetland, Orkney, Caithness, Sutherland, large parts of Moray including Elgin, large parts of Argyll and Renfrewshire including Greenock, and large parts of Inverness-shire including Fort William and various islands.
It says shoppers will be offered two-three week deliveries for larger items, with two-hour delivery slots to the room of choice. Unboxing, removing packaging and assembly is an optional extra for some items.
It says ‘many items are pre-assembled for quick and easy installation’.
