Zoe Bonser, Clarion Events retail division portfolio director is to leave for a job in Dubai.
Bonser has been in charge of JFS and MFS, along with five other trade exhibitions, since January 2021.
‘A new adventure awaits. After almost seven years at Clarion Events I am moving on. It’s bittersweet as I have loved my time on the Enthusiast and Retail portfolios, creating amazing live events and connecting thousands of businesses and buyers every season,’ she wrote on LinkedIn.
‘Not only that, I have been lucky to work with the best teams in the business. Although I am sad to leave I know the Retail business is in very capable hands.
‘So it’s goodbye for now and a move of a very different kind to Dubai World Trade Centre. This will be a huge change and transition for me and my family, after being in London for 23 years, but I can’t wait to experience this new chapter in my career and our lives.’
During her time at the Retail portfolio, Bonsor founded the Women in Furniture Network. She is pictured at the WiFN event at Manchester Furniture Show last month with Kellie Wyles, DFS head of upholstery and brands; Jan Duckworth, Cox & Cox md; and Fara Butt, Shire Beds director.
