Next month’s January Furniture Show has been pushed back to April.
‘Following the significant increase of Omicron Covid-19 variant cases across the UK, we have taken the decision to postpone January Furniture Show. The event will now take place from 24-27 April 2022,’ says Russell Rule, JFS show director.
‘This is really disappointing news, however, the wellbeing of everyone involved in the event is paramount. We are committed to bringing you January Furniture Show in an environment where everyone feels safe to do business and with this in mind we feel it’s the right decision to postpone to a later date. We will always work in the best interests of our customers – both exhibitors and visitors – and we believe a safe and successful event can be run in April 2022.’
The show is the latest January event to be hit by the pandemic, following the cancellation of Heimtextil, Domotex and imm Cologne. The future of INDX Furniture, Maison & Objet and Spring Fair (in February) have yet to be announced.
