Kettal buys control of Driade

Kettal has bought a majority stake in Driade, to ‘rediscover its DNA’.

Nemo Group, which owns lighting brands FontanaArte, Nemo, Reggiani, ILTI Luce, will retain a holding in the furniture manufacturer.

‘With this new course, we aim to rediscover Driade’s DNA and project it into the future through an international and shared vision. This is not a simple acquisition but an authentic collaboration born from mutual respect and the belief that true innovation arises from the meeting of different cultures and competencies. Driade deserves to reclaim its place on the international design scene,’ Alex Alorda, of Kettal ceo.

‘I would like to thank the Astori family for having created, with great courage and vision, a hub of sophisticated innovation. With the intention of continuing along that path, today is the time to explore new models, including through collaborations between companies that share the same values. Our true competitors are geographic and cultural barriers, and therefore our real goal is to create synergies to promote a culture of design. With Kettal, we have built a partnership grounded in these very principles: placing the project idea at the centre, spreading a culture of good living, and pursuing a balance between creativity, innovation, and industrial development,’ says Federico Palazzari, Nemo Group ceo.
