While members of the flooring industry concentrate on securing sales and profit growth, they contributed to achieving this at this year’s Kidderminster Carpet Manufacturers Charity Golf Tournament.
The 2-3 June event, held at its traditional venue of the Kidderminster Golf Club with Likewise as the main sponsor, raised £22,300 for Macmillan Cancer Support and local charities.
This is a rise of 10% on the 2025 tournament, described by organisers as ‘amazing’.
‘This is recognition of the wonderful support that you have shown. The monies raised will be distributed amongst the partner charities in the coming weeks, and I’m sure they would all give their heartfelt thanks to you for all your efforts: your support will make a huge difference to their ability to carry on the great work that they do,’ the organising committee told supporters and sponsors, including Interiors Monthly.
‘For those of you who are not aware, next year’s tournament, the 69th, will take place on 18-19 May. Hopefully as many of you as possible will be able to once again contribute to an amazing event.’
