Flooring group Likewise is to move the operations of wholesaler Delta Carpets into its Morley, Leeds premises after agreeing to buy it for £3m.
Delta’s four shareholder directors – Graham Irving, Tim Hetherington, Stephen Ridsdill and Stuart Ibbestson – will remain with the Leeds company for between one to the months.
Last year Delta had a pre-tax profit of £400,000 from sales of £6.6m.

Delta will continue to operate as a separate business under the Delta trade brand but share Likewise Group’s logistics capacity.
