Mammoth in Airspung and Litmus tie-up

Airsprung Beds is to take over the manufacturing of Mammoth’s beds for bricks and mortar retailers while Litmus Furniture will assume responsibility for selling.

Airsprung already makes products for Mammoth – it is licensed to manufacture into the online channel and will continue to do so – and the new arrangement will see it become an official licensed manufacturer. Both company says they want to reduce lead times ‘significantly’.

‘I am delighted that Mammoth will be building on its existing relationship with Airsprung Beds through this appointment. As a business, we are already well aware of Airsprung’s manufacturing capabilities, commitment to quality, speed of delivery and exemplary customer service standards. It’s important to us that we move forward with a partner that shares our own commitment to excellence, attention to detail and rigorous approach to testing and development,’ says Stuart Nutbeen, Mammoth md.

‘Airsprung is proud to have the opportunity to work with Mammoth across its retail channel. We strongly believe we can bring real value to Mammoth’s growing network of retailers by focusing on increased efficiency and reduced lead times. We know that speed of delivery and convenience is a huge driver for the modern consumer, and so we believe that with these improved capabilities we will be able to help Mammoth’s valued stockists deliver an enhanced service to their customers on a premium brand,’ says Paul Little, Airsprung Beds deputy md.

‘The new agreement will see Mammoth retain the services of all existing staff and maintain the high level of sales support as it looks to deliver on an ambitious growth strategy across product collections and retail channels,’ says a Mammoth spokeswoman.
