Home office and office furniture manufacturer Bisley has opened its Manchester showroom.
The space occupies 2,900sqft of the Calico building on Mosley Street, in the heart of the city’s thriving business district.
It is its second UK showroom, and its first in the north.
The decision to open a new UK showroom in Manchester was taken due to the rapid growth in demand witnessed in the northern and Scottish markets.
‘The opening of the Manchester showroom is an important step for us. Our industry as a whole can sometimes feel very London focused, but with a rapidly growing customer base in the north, it has always been important for Bisley to be represented in all the areas of the UK where we are witnessing expansion. The north of England and Scotland are currently experiencing huge market growth and we want to get ahead of the curve. In particular, we are keen to immerse ourselves in Manchester’s buzzing design and architectural community, and for our northern showroom to have a character and personality that is distinct from our original London showroom. I think we have achieved that, and more,’ says Scott Douglas, Bisley northern sales manager.
