Georgia Metcalfe, French Bedroom Company founder has reached the finals of the 2021 NatWest everywoman Awards.
Metcalfe, who founded the company 15 years ago, is one of the three finalists in the Aphrodite category, sponsored by Daily Mail, awarded to a woman who founded her business whilst raising a child or children aged 12 or under.
During a career in interior design PR, she realised that it was not PR that she loved, but rather the product. She had a passion for the French style and before she knew it was sourcing products to launch the French Bedroom Company, which has been named a UK Cool Brand for five consecutive years. The business started with a handful of French style pieces and has expanded to include furniture, bed linen, wallpaper and home accessories.
The winners will be revealed on 7 December.
