The board of the Multilayer Modular Flooring Association has been re-elected ahead of a ‘critical’ period for the industry.

The associations’ members voted to re-elect Jan Dossche, US Floors International president to serve a third consecutive two-year term as president, alongside Sebastian Wendel, Classen director, who returns as vice-president and technical committee chairman. Carlos Duarte, Amorim director who joined the board in March on an interim basis was also re-elected.

‘I am very grateful to our members for their continued trust and mandate to continue leading the MMFA into the 2026-2028 term. Over the past few years, our industry has demonstrated incredible resilience and innovation. It is therefore an honour to continue to oversee the growth of MMFA, which has become the largest and most dynamic flooring association worldwide,’ says Dossche.

A priority for the returning leadership team is to guide members through upcoming European regulatory changes and data standardisation requirements. ‘The next two years are critical, as the industry must adapt to evolving environmental standards, we will be working on equipping our members with a new LCA tool and updating our Environmental Product Declarations,’ says Wendel.
