MFS return hailed as exhibitors sign up for 2025

The return of the Manchester Furniture Show has been welcomed by exhibitors, with two-thirds of the 2025 event booked.

Organiser Clarion says that ‘thousands’ of visitors attended last week’s exhibition, including a third who attended for two days.

After an absence of five years, the show also attracted a wider visitor base with the number of architects more than doubling, a third more distributors and 5% more from the hospitality sector.

Visitors attended from 23 countries.

‘It was wonderful to see the show have such a successful return and to celebrate with a brilliant party! There was no better way to mingle with the industry and make the most of our time together in the vibrant city of Manchester. The team did a great job to curate a fantastic collection of brands and give visitors the best opportunity to source the latest products in a fun and relaxing environment. We can’t wait to bring the show back next year, even bigger and better,’ says show. Zoe Bonser, Clarion retail portfolio director.

Women in Furniture Network hosted a leadership-themed brunch with its biggest turn out yet, with a keynote from Melinda Whittington, La-Z-Boy ceo and president who inspired guests with her authentic talk about her career journey and top tips for any woman and business in the furniture industry.

The 2025 show is scheduled to take place from 6-7 July.
