The 30th edition of Malaysian International Furniture Fair saw in increase in overseas buyers as the value of orders at the show topped US$1.2bn.
The show attracted 5,419 international visitors from 120 countries and regions, a rise of 6%. Orders reached US$1.28bn.
The exhibition’s 715 exhibitors saw attendances up 68% from the fast-growing Asia market followed by North America, Europe and Oceania. First-time visitors make up 43% of the total 19,213 presence.

Next year’s MIFF will again be held from 1-4 March at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) and World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL).
