Rug retailer Floor_Story has moved to a new showroom.
The company has remained within the Shoreditch area of East London, moving to the Cairo Studios on Nile Street.
The 2,175sqft space will be shared with workspace designers, Trifle*. The aim is to host events, partner activities and brand activations for both teams. The space will now accommodate an extensive sample wall for Floor_Story, Zoom rooms for international clients, studio and display areas.
‘Floor_Story has grown a lot over the past three years and so quite simply a new showroom was needed. To have our own dedicated space where we can really showcase what we can do for our clients, from initial idea to full production – is amazing. We have a dynamic and multi-functional set-up including spaces which will open new ways of connecting with our community. Our design process will be very much at the forefront of this with 5,000 colours on show, many additional yarn qualities and a sample wall which allows us to present a far more extensive range of rug combinations,’ says Simon Goff, Floor_Story founder.
The showroom will officially open during London Design Festival in September and feature two new collections by Kangan Arora (pictured).
