Recofloor collections to carry on despite suspected arson attack

Flooring recycling scheme Recofloor says its collections will continue despite its supply of new bulk bags and clear sacks being destroyed in a suspected arson attack.

130 firefighters tackled the fire at the Armadillo Self Storage Unit, Stockport in the early hours of Saturday morning, which left ‘significant destruction of the building and most contents.’

Recofloor rented a 250sqft space at the centre.

Collections are still carrying on and bookings can still be made.

The scheme says those with safety bags can use them for smooth offcuts and if companies do not have sufficient bags to store materials in a dry place.
