You could be an NBF Bed Industry Awards retail winner
The NBF Bed Industry Awards will return in September, and retailers have been urged to enter the four retail categories, for retailers that stock NBF-approved member brands.
The awards recognise excellence in the UK and Republic of Ireland bed market, and provide a boost for finalists and winners.
The Small NBF Retail Champion of the Year is dedicated to independent retailers with one or two stores, while Medium NBF Retail Champion of the Year is open to those with three to 20 stores.
The National Bed Retailer of the Year Award recognises businesses with more than 20 stores. Retailers must have at least 80% of sales online to enter the Online Bed Retailer of the Year Award.
Retailer award entrants must demonstrate their support for NBF-approved brands and how they have raised awareness of the NBF and its values over the past year.
‘The accolades represent more than a trophy and a certificate for the winners. For last year’s Small Retail Champion winner, The M6 Bed Warehouse, their award was a “testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and the trust and loyalty of our customers.” I encourage retailers who are on the fence about entering to just do it. If businesses have something they really want to shout about, the NBF Bed Industry Awards provide the perfect platform,’ says Tristine Hargreaves, NBF executive director.
A shortlist of retailer finalists will be published before the winners are revealed, providing exposure for finalists and winners.
Businesses should begin gathering testimonials and evidence to strengthen their entries, and review the criteria and top tips to increase their chances of becoming finalists.
A VIP host will crown this year’s winners at the NBF Bed Industry Awards ceremony and gala dinner on 22 September, at the Telford International Centre. Booking details will be announced shortly.
For NBF members, the Bed Manufacturer of the Year and Supplier of the Year awards spotlight companies that have excelled in areas such as financial performance, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and staff investment.
The Bed Product of the Year and Component Product of the Year awards recognise innovative designs that integrate sustainability and fill a gap in the market, in addition to a commitment to excellence and environmental considerations in today’s market. This year, how the bed product addresses a specific sleep problem has been added to the bed award criteria.
Retailers and NBF members can enter online to gain recognition and showcase their achievements.
