Milos interprets outdoor living as a free, convivial and constantly evolving experience
Best known for its upholstery, Desiree has always sought to move comfort beyond a purely functional aspect and transform it into a perceptive experience. This approach
has been followed for Milos, the outdoor range designed by Marc Sadler.
Characterised by a soft form and by its configuration as an island or pouf, Milos introduces a freer and more convivial way of experiencing outdoor spaces.
Designed to be placed at the centre of the setting, the seat moves beyond the idea of furniture as an accessory presence and becomes a focal point around which new opportunities for encounters, pausing and sharing can take shape.
The distinctive feature is its movable backrest, which makes it possible to modulate
the seat and redefine the relationship between people and the surrounding environment. Milos can therefore become a convivial island, a space for individual relaxation or a
point of observation, adapting to different situations while maintaining its formal coherence.
Sadler’s design sees the softness of the volumes, the compositional freedom and the non-hierarchical configuration transform the seat into a small domestic landscape in
the open air: as far removed from a deck chair as you can imagine.
The cushions have water-repellent removeable covers and a water-repellent lining.
The island version measures 207cm x 142cm x 38cm, and the pouf version 90cm x
72cm x 38cm.
