Renouf heads latest FMC freeman inductions

Richard Renouf, furnishing consultant and Interiors Monthly columnist is among the latest members of the industry to be inducted as a freeman of The Furniture Makers’ Company.

Renouf was admitted alongside Leanne Eastwood, HSL Chairs commercial director; Tristine Hargreaves, National Bed Federation executive director; Paul James, One Call Furniture sales director; Emma Rackley, AIS director of home and furniture; Phil Spademan, BFA md; Gary Sprawling, ALS Labs md; Ben Waters, HSL Chairs operations director; George Winks, Teper Studio creative director; Nick Wright, The King’s Foundation furniture school manager; Annette Ahern and Carol Carter. In addition, Gary Lasham, Barons Contract Furniture chair was admitted as a corporate freeman.

‘After spending most of my working career in the furniture industry, it’s an absolute privilege to be able to join The Furniture Makers’ Company and give back for all that it has given me. A wonderful network of inspiring and supportive individuals who are passionate about furniture,’ says Rackley.

‘After more than 30 years in the furniture industry, I am delighted to join The Furniture Makers’ Company. I have vast experience in all areas of business and feel the time is right for me to give back to the industry that has provided me with so much,’ says James.

Leveraging our expertise in retail, manufacturing, and logistics, I am committed to supporting others in their success and long-term growth,’ says Eastwood.
