ScS’s executive directors saw their bonuses drop by more than £260,000 in the past year.
Steve Carson, ScS ceo saw his bonus drop from £269,360 to £122,570, while Chris Muir, outgoing cfo saw his drop from £215,488 to £98,056.
Both saw their basic salary increase in line with a general employee increase, to £412,000 and £329,600 respectively.
The chain is altering how it calculates bonuses, moving from EBITDA – and this year staff wellbeing and waste reduction – to adjusted profit before tax.
