Long Point demonstrated the confidence, creativity and resilience of British furniture manufacturing
Spring Long Point again demonstrated why Long Eaton remains at the heart of the UK furniture industry, bringing together retailers, manufacturers and suppliers for three days of product introductions, networking and business development across the town’s plethora of showrooms.
The exhibition saw exhibitors enjoy strong visitor engagement, positive retailer feedback and encouraging levels of interest in new collections across upholstery, cabinet, bedroom furniture, fabrics and interiors accessories.

The strength of this year’s launches, alongside the investment that many exhibitors have made in new showrooms, products and facilities, demonstrates the confidence, creativity and resilience that continue to define British furniture manufacturing. Debut exhibitor Wallace & Howe used Long Point as a platform to showcase an expanded product offering following the acquisitions of Steed Upholstery and Peter
Guild. Retailers responded positively to the quality and breadth of the collections on display, underlining the company’s investment in British manufacturing.
Artistic Upholstery unveiled Mythos, a striking decorative showwood collection, while Ashwood Designs launched a bed collection, including the Hansson bed. Bluebone attracted retail interest with the scale, character and sustainable credentials of its Mammoth reclaimed teak collection. Covercraft Upholstery used the show to highlight expansion plans, with its Chelsea Harbour showroom opening. Duresta and Parker
Knoll welcomed visitors to their new showroom at the Sutton-in-Ashfield HQ, where customers were able to experience the latest collections and fabrics.
Iain James showcased a contemporary range of quartered walnut occasional tables. Peter Cook marked the launch of its Sedac-Meral showroom. The facility provides a dedicated environment to experience sofa bed and furniture mechanisms through
hands-on demonstrations and technical discussions. Violino introduced a more transitional aesthetic, complementing its established contemporary offer. Collections featuring feather-filled seat cushions and a more relaxed, luxurious feel were welcomed by buyers.
Wiemann attracted significant attention with the latest additions to its VIP collection.
New ranges, including Macao and Ambiero, impressed visitors with innovative storage, lighting options and distinctive design details.
Autumn Long Point will take place from 14-16 September, with some exhibitors also opening showrooms on 17 September.
