Tamart set for Nordic debut

Furniture and lighting brand Tamart is to make its Nordic exhibition next month as it looks to bolster its international presence.

The up-market producer will take part in Trends & Traditions in Copenhagen on 7 May.

It will be exhibiting at Lokomotivværkstedet from 9am-11pm.

Tamart’s collections are drawn from the original archival designs of founder Amos Goldreich’s parents Tamar de Shalit and Arthur Goldreich: a body of modernist work that has been studied, reinterpreted, and brought to life for a 21st century market.

‘We have long admired the Scandinavian approach to design: the discipline and the integrity. Trends & Tradition feels like the most authentic way to begin that conversation,’ says Goldreich.

Designs are drawn from and inspired by the collection of more than 10,000 original plans, photographs, documents, and prototypes discovered by Goldreich after his parents’ death.

Participation in Trends & Traditions has also seen Tamart distributed in Scandinavia, Germany and the Netherlands by Holmris B8, Trends & Tradition organiser.
