Tapi opens first John Lewis concession

Tapi has opened its first John Lewis concession, at the department store chain’s Oxford Street, London branch.

The opening at the flagship store comes six months after former concession holder The Floor Room collapsed owning £2m of consumer deposits and £90,000 to John Lewis.

‘It’s a great honour to be associated with the John Lewis brand. Like Tapi, they’re focused on great value, high quality products and delivering outstanding customer service. We’re also delighted to bring to market an appealing new collection of 100% wool John Lewis branded carpets,’ says Charlie Harris, Tapi director of buying.

‘It’s been so exciting to see this first concession launch. We’re delighted to welcome Tapi to John Lewis and are confident that our customers will value their extensive flooring proposition and commitment to outstanding customer service,’ says Katie Papakonstantinou, John Lewis director of services & hospitality.

A further 16 concessions will open by the summer at Bluewater, Brent Cross, Cambridge, Cheadle, Cribbs Causeway, Edinburgh, High Wycombe, Kingston, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Nottingham, Reading, Solihull, Southampton and Peter Jones, London.
