TCM joins industry charity

Upholstery group TCM Living Group has joined furnishing industry charity The Furniture Makers’ Company, as a corporate member.

The move by the parent of Alstons, Ashley Manor, AMX-Design and Alexander and James sees Andy Kennaugh, Alstons; md; Jonathan Fearn, TCM Living Group ceo and Gareth Mayhew, TCM Living Group director of ESG and compliance admitted as corporate liverymen.

‘We are delighted that TCM Living Group has joined The Furniture Makers’ Company as a corporate member and we welcome Andy, Gareth and Jonathan. Our corporate members are of the greatest importance to us. We are delighted that so many different companies from the wider furnishing industry understand the importance of joining as members and supporting our charitable endeavours. All members, individual or corporate, are invited to participate in the many events in the City livery calendar, which are great for networking, entertaining, as well as having fun,’ says Amanda Waring, The Furniture Makers’ Company master.

‘Andy, Gareth and I are delighted to represent TCM Living as a corporate member of The Furniture Makers’ Company. We believe strongly in the need to work together as an industry to support and develop the UK’s future furniture makers, and to increase awareness of the skills and value in each piece of furniture produced every day,’ says Fearn.
