Taking centre stage for Likewise at TFSS was Floorward, the easy to install, use and recycle sheet vinyl flooring. The textile backing keeps it securely in place on the floor, with no need for glue: if the user wants a new look, or is moving home, they simply roll
it up and unroll the replacement, or take it with them.
As a simple sheet, there are no joints to trap dirt, so keeping it clean and hygienic is easy. Life happens, but the vinyl’s top layer keeps out moisture and a lifetime warranty provides reassurance.
Made in Belgium, powered by green energy and backed with recycled materials, Floorward can be collected, shredded and turned into fresh flooring so nothing goes
to landfill, as it demonstrates its circular design credentials.
And this continues with what’s in Floorward: 20% mass-balanced recycled content;
10% bio-based content (Circul’Egg eggshells); 41% green energy-derived content (as measured by the ISCC+ mass-balance method) and 90% recycled textile backing with Plastic Bank approval.
It is phthalate-free.
Looks are just as important for Floorward. From minimal to maximal and classic to playful, users can choose the vibe that fits their life and mood and let the floor do the talking. Its ultra-matt coating has been created to take realism to the next level: no shine, no gloss, just pure design as it lets every wood grain or stone detail come to life. There are seven concrete looks in earthy shades; seven parquet plank designs; seven wood styles; five stone options and two pattern styles. It is available in 4m widths, and has a 2.8mmdepth, including a 0.55mm wear layer.
Floors by Lewis Abbot showcased Apex, Vela and Axis, a herringbone carpet collection in three designs and five colours; an earthy colour palette for Endless Affection and the brand’s new sisal collection. The Knightsbridge mat and runner offer was expanded with festive designs, produced from recycled PET. Rugs were added to the choice, including soft-touch printed designs and a realistic printed sisal-look design. The herringbone Duracore LVT is available with a 5G fitting system.
