The second day of The Flooring Show saw the winner of this year’s NICF Fitter of the Year LVT revealed.
The competition was the first time it has centred around LVT, rather than carpet. The six finalists had to complete a flooring project involving stairs as well as an artistic project using LVT pieces on the theme of London.
The judges said the result was very close before naming Matt Bowles as the winner.
‘I have over 20 years’ experience in different aspects of the flooring industry and run my own company. I find it important to continually develop my flooring knowledge and thrive on learning new skills so I can keep up to date with everything in this ever-evolving trade.
‘This is a key part of my business ethic and is shown in the quality of creative work I produce,’ he says.
