The Range format to get Bathstore boost as roll-out moves to next phase

The roll out of Garden Centre by Homebase concept and Kitchens by Homebase showrooms at The Range will be joined by Bathstore spaces, as the chain continues to change its stores.

Since the retailer acquired Homebase an up to 70 branches last November, it has converted 55 of its stores to the superstore format.

It is working on the second phase of the transformation and plans to announce the details shortly. It has also expanded its partnership with Iceland to more than 150 stores – almost two-thirds of its estate.

‘We are incredibly proud of the progress we have made in transforming former Homebase stores into vibrant The Range superstores. This project has not only saved jobs but has also enhanced our offering to customers, providing them with a comprehensive shopping experience for all their home and garden needs. Our partnership with Iceland and the integration of Wilko own-brand items further demonstrate our commitment to convenience and quality. We look forward to continuing to serve our communities with excellence,’ says Alex Simpkin, ceo of The Range, Homebase and Wilko parent CDS Superstores.
