FIRA has published its latest Statistics Digest for the UK Furniture Industry, showing that UK furniture consumer spending rose by 3.2% last year.
The latest quarterly release, says that shoppers spent £20.15bn, although growth was slower than that of overall consumer spending.
It covers 2019 to 2025, with major updates including consumer spending and trade statistics; manufacturing data by product updated to include figures for 2024, sourced from the ONS Prodcom series, with activity based manufacturing data available as at the end of 2023 ahead of finalised 2024 figures due later this year and consistent domestic and international analysis, using a dual classification framework combining the UK Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system with the internationally recognised Harmonised System (HS) for trade.
It is free for FIRA members, and costs £600 for non-members.
