Unilin Technologies and i4f have sealed a deal for a non‑assert agreement on Unilin’s water repellent coating patents.
The technology licensing companies offer different coating technology designed to enhance the water‑repellent performance of wood‑based flooring products, with Unilin’s marketed under the Unicoat brand and I4f’s under the AquaProtect branding.
The agreement allows i4f to offer its licensees additional protection on Unilin’s patent portfolio giving flooring manufacturers legal access to multiple water‑repellent edge‑coating technologies.
