Very Group has reshuffled its management, with a new role for home director Mike Wheeler.
The reshuffle comes after former Fenwick chief executive Robbie Feather joined as retail md.
Feather has changed the group’s structure from fashion, electricals, developing categories, and home – to two with Sam Wright heading the new fashion, sports, leisure and home category and Victoria Aldrich leading the new electricals, beauty, toys and gift category.
Wheeler will run a new retail operations team designed to tackle supply chain issues, while those in charge of fashion and developing categories leaving.
‘Building on the success of our category management approach, we’re reorganising our retail team to make it even simpler and more efficient, and to give our customers an even better experience. To do that, we’re combining our four category teams into two: fashion, sports, leisure and home; and electrical, beauty, toys and gifts. These enlarged category teams will be supported by a new retail operations team,’ says the group.
