Will the Carpetright nearest you re-open?

Tapi is urging shoppers to cancel outstanding orders made with Carpetright and rebook at a Tapi branch or one of the 54 stores it has taken over. But can rival retailers take advantage of the stores’ changed flooring, beds and furnishings product offer to generate more income before they re-open?

The following branches are due to re-open on Friday once they have been connected to Tapi’s communication systems.

All other Carpetright stores will not reopen. This has led to 1,018 employees being made redundant by administrator PwC.

Tapi has urged Carpetright customers who have outstanding orders that were placed at the 54 stores to contact their bank, credit card company or finance provider to cancel the order and then rebook it at a Tapi branch or one of the 54 outlets.

When they reopen the stores will no longer sell curtains, blinds, beds and artificial grass.
