After more than two years of planning and work bed manufacturer Naturalmat has opened its expanded showroom and workshop.
The £2m 30,000sqft development, which also includes its head office, is in the same boatyard in Topsham, Exeter the company began in in 1999.
The investment has tripled the manufacturer’s capacity, and it says this will allow it to recruit staff according to demand and the business’s needs.
Founded in 1999, Nauralmat became the UK’s first B Corp certified bed and mattress company in 2023, reflecting its long use of organic materials, supporting local farmers and its community impact.
