Belgotex International Group has added the Ideal and Carus flooring brands to its portfolio.
The £380m group has bought the brands after Beaulieu International Group decided to close its tufted carpet operation, saying it was impossible for the division to be profitable.
A selection Ideal’s ranges including Dublin Twist, Dublin Heather, Sweet Home and Dalton and Carus’ contract collections will be sold by Associated Weavers, Lano and Balsan.
