The group’s central ordering service provides a convenient route to a broader range of products, particularly for members who do not hold direct supplier accounts. With a
simple ordering process and access to multiple suppliers through one point of contact, the service has also helped many members develop new supplier relationships over time.
Members may also choose to utilise the CarpetFirst own-label brand. Established in the mid-1990s, CarpetFirst continues to provide retailers with a strong in-store identity through professionally designed displays, sampling solutions and POS materials: an increasingly valuable asset in today’s competitive retail environment.
Metro’s marketing and merchandising service offers tailored support to help members promote their businesses. Members receive an annual marketing contribution of £600 plus VAT, alongside professional guidance from concept and design through to installation.
