Betap looked for more success with its soft yarns at FFD
Betap returned to Kortrijk Xpo with a large central stand to showcase a wide range of new and updated ranges as part of Flanders Flooring Days. With the company enjoying increased popularity of its soft polyester and polypropylene offerings, Matlock and Northampton debuted, targeting consumers seeking added value but with lower cost carpets.
‘Polyester is the right fibre to use. We have developed yarns that combine a nice shine and a very good handle, and so the products are a really good balance of price and performance for our customers,’ it says.
The expanded 100% wool Yarn by Nature collection now features new quarter loop qualities in neutral tones. The 1/10th-gauge polypropylene Graphics collection was extended with new ‘subtle and playful’ designs. ‘We have had lots of customers visit,
with lots of good quality meetings. The people we want to talk to are here,’ added the company.
