Interiors retailers have been urged to tap into the resilience of the £9.3billion gift market next month.
September’s Autumn Fair will deliver its strongest showcase of gift brands, bringing together established industry leaders, emerging designers and exclusive launches across every major gifting category.
Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 6–9 September, Autumn Fair arrives at a pivotal moment for retailers preparing for the Golden Quarter and planning ranges for early 2027. With Glee co-locating on 8–9 September, the 6-9 September event at the NEC will be Europe’s biggest buying moment for home, gift, garden and fashion, bringing together more than 1,250 exhibitors.
The UK giftware market is estimated to be worth around £9.3 billion, reflecting consumers’ continued appetite for thoughtful, personalised and experience-led gifting. Personalisation, sustainability, wellness, artisan products and premium home accessories continue to shape purchasing decisions, while retailers are increasingly seeking products that help differentiate their offer from online competitors.
The show’s Gift destination brings together some of the sector’s biggest names including Joe Davies, Lesser & Pavey, Widdop & Co, Richard Lang & Sons, Gift Republic, Kikkerland, Warmies, Gingko Design, University Games, Anjica, and Candlelight Products.
Visitors will be able to see new exhibitors including Puckator, CGB Giftware, Repeat Repeat, Craftstone Europe, Coaster House, Heritage Playing Cards, Portland Living, Baltus Candles, Significant Otter, JJ Vaillant, McHugs and Outdoor Collective – North Star Brands.
Beyond product discovery, buyers can also gain insights through Autumn Fair’s content programme, designed to help retailers navigate the trends shaping the season ahead. The new Counter Talks Stage will bring together leading retailers, buyers and industry experts to share practical advice on consumer behaviour, merchandising, social commerce, AI, marketing and profitability.
Visitors can also explore the Gift of the Year Showcase.
‘Gift retail has never been more dynamic. Consumers are looking for products that tell a story, reflect their values and create memorable experiences. Autumn Fair brings all the trends together under one roof. With more than a quarter of our exhibitors joining us for the first time, over 30% exhibiting exclusively, and hundreds of exciting product launches across every gifting category, we’re giving buyers the opportunity to discover the brands and products that will define the Golden Quarter and beyond. Whether you’re looking for established bestsellers or the next big thing, Autumn Fair is where those discoveries happen,’ says Matthew Mein, Autumn Fair event director.
