The furniture industry’s National Golf Day raised £5,200 to support The Furniture Makers’ Company’s welfare and educational activities.
The event, sponsored by Bensons for Beds, saw Designer Contracts top the scoreboard, with 94 points in the 18-hole Stableford competition at Northamptonshire County Golf Club.
Designer Contracts player James Gibson won the individual competition with a score of 42, while teammate Neil Lloyd came second with 39 points.
Bensons for Beds secured second place in the team competition.
The Furniture Makers’ Company thanked Bensons as the main event sponsor, along with Sealy and NEJ Stevenson, for their continued support and generosity and Biesse Group UK for providing players’ goodie bags.
