With more than 65 years of carpet manufacturing experience from its mills in Lancashire, Cormar Carpet Company has built up an award-winning portfolio of carpet ranges. A cornerstone of its success is the dedicated team working diligently behind the scenes to ensure top-tier service for retail, wholesale and contract customers.
The family-owned business has made substantial investments over the past year, launching five ranges into the market. Among these, the Easy Clean loop Primo Textures has gained rapid popularity. As its first synthetic loop pile carpet, it represents a significant milestone and a strong addition to the loop market for the company. The year also saw the relaunch of the popular Inglewood Saxony and Sensation ranges, both now available in a refreshed palette of colour options.
Cormar’s award-winning trade portal, launched in 2011, continues to grow, with more than 66% of customers placing orders online. A recent survey revealed that more than 90% of users consider it the best in the industry.
This year, enhancements worth over £100,000 were made, including a new pending deliveries area and functionality improvements to the after-sales area.
The company has also expanded its distribution fleet with the acquisition of 10 new trucks and 15 demount boxes, all equipped with the latest technology and safety features. This investment maintains its high standards of quality, efficiency and safety.
Additionally, Cormar continues to advance its manufacturing process, particularly with enhancements to its backing plant. These have led to significant gains in quality and customer satisfaction, prompting ongoing investment to further elevate reliability and excellence.
