Furniture saw a return of consumer price deflation last month.
After two months of neither inflation of deflation, deflation returned with a rate of 0.7% in November, according to ONS data.
This is the first time the sector has seen deflation since December 2024.
Garden furniture continued its run of deflation, up from 8.3% to 8.8%. 11 of the past 13 months have seen deflation.
Lighting has seen unbroken deflation for more than a year, and November was no exception, albeit the rate dropped from 3.7% to 3.4%.
