Tom Dixon has been presented with his CBE by Princess Anne in a ceremony at Windsor Castle.
The furniture and lighting designer was awarded the honour – he previously received an OBE, awarded in 2001- in the King’s New Year’s Honours list for his outstanding and influential contributions to the field of design.
With a career spanning more than four decades, Dixon has reshaped the global design landscape through his work in furniture, lighting and accessories. His creations are held in leading institutions worldwide, including the V&A in London and MoMA in New York.
