Household textiles saw annual retail deflation continue for the fourth consecutive month in February, as fabric and curtain price rises vanish.
Furnishing fabrics and curtains saw more than a year of inflation come to an end, according to ONS figures, as inflation of 0.3% become deflation of 1.4%.
Bed linen continued its deflationary journey (its fourth month in a row) at 0.7% while table and bathroom linen saw inflation of 3.2% shrink to 0.9%.
