The furnishing industry’s longest running charity event, the National Golf Day, raised almost £8,000 for The Furniture Makers’ Company.
Sponsored by Bensons for Beds, the event at Northamptonshire County Golf Club – ranked in the UK’s top 100 courses – attracted almost 50 players.
The day started with breakfast which was followed by an 18-hole Stableford competition, lunch, prize giving ceremony, charity auction and raffle. The event raised £7,663 for the charity.
The winners of the competition were: Team winner Ocee & Four Design; team runner up NEJ Stevenson; individual winner Martin Flowers and runner0up Jim Sutherland.
