The annual rate of inflation of household furniture climbed again in June.
The rate increased from 16.4% to 16.6% (although still below March’s 17.2%), according to ONS.
In June 2021 the rate was 6.6%.
The furniture and furnishings index also rose, from 16.2% to 16.3%, while garden furniture was static with a 25.5% increase.
Lighting saw prices rose by 11.3%, up from May’s 10.5% rise.
