Furniture sales suffered another monthly sales drop in July, but were still significantly ahead of pre-pandemic levels.
According to the Office for National Statistics, average weekly sales for furniture and lighting in England, Wales and Scotland was £1,341,794,000 in July.
This is 12.6% lower than June 2021, but 17.6% higher than July 2020 and 36.1% higher than July 2019 when the average weekly sales value was £985,388,000.
