Gallery Direct is to open a distribution centre at Markham Vale, allowing it to offer next day delivery to the overwhelming majority of its customers.
The company plans to open the 224,000sqft warehouse at the Derbyshire distribution complex early next year. It has room for 35,000 pallets, boasts 21 loading bays and has room for 39 trailers.
The company also plans to develop a 30,000sqft showroom.
About 50 jobs will be created.
