Giorgetti has recruited Dolce&Gabbana’s head of global marketing and communications to strengthen its marketing.
Giulia Benedetti has joined the group in the new role of cmo as it looks to enhance its identity as part of a plan began last September.
Benedetti has 15 years of marketing experience, including roles at Ferragamo and D&G, where she joined in 2014 as global senior PR manager, becoming global marketing communications manager in 2022 and then head of global marketing and communications later that year.
‘Giulia’s appointment represents a significant step in Giorgetti Group’s evolution. Her experience and strategic vision will help consolidate the brand and develop it, in line with the values of excellence, innovation, and design culture that have always distinguished us,’ says Giovanni del Vecchio, Giorgetti Group ceo.
‘Joining Giorgetti means helping to enhance a unique collective narrative, born of the profoundly Italian link between craftsmanship, design innovation, and the culture of beauty. I welcome this opportunity with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, with the goal of amplifying Giorgetti’s voice on a global scale. Thanks to the invaluable work and know-how of the teams I am called upon to lead today, I intend to develop increasingly relevant, contemporary, and culturally authoritative strategic communication, which affirms Made in Italy not only as an identity value, but also as an authentic strategic asset and distinctive competitive lever in international markets,’ she says.
