Exclusive stays and workshops, iconic designer chairs, sport and cultural events, and beds will be among the items up for grabs in The Furniture Makers’ Company’s third online Christmas charity auction.
Items include: a two-night stay at the Harrison Spinks farm; an overnight spa break for two at Champneys; a Staples mattress, headboard and divan set; a Sealy Elevate Edison mattress: Simba mattress and accessories bundle; a Crowbridge box top mattress, and divan set with headboard; a taster day workshop at the Boat Building Academy; £200 Theatre Royal & Concert Hall voucher; a private day course at the London School of Furniture Making; a Heron chair and Dishy chair; Goodwood golf voucher; Henley regatta tickets; a Paxton occasional chair; a Hypnos bedding bundle; an Andres swivel chair; a Christmas hamper; two Flow dining chairs designed by Tomoko Azumi for Ercol; Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2013 champagne and glasses set and a Silentnight mattress.
The charity hopes to raise £10,000 to support its education, training, and welfare programmes.
Blum, Boat Building Academy, Bensons for Beds, Celtheath, Designer Contracts, DFS, Dreams, Ercol, Graham Marley, Handy, Harrison Spinks, Hypnos, London School of Furniture Making, Ocee & Four Design, Sealy, Shackletons, Silentnight, Simba, Sleepeezee, Sofa Source, Tempur and Whitemeadow are among those who have donated.
