A furniture retailer has taken a major step forward to filling a geographic gap in its country-wide coverage.
Wren Kitchens has secured planning approval for its signage for the former Listers Furnishing store in Workington, Cumbria.
At the moment, local residents make a substantial drive to visit the kitchen, bedroom and living room chain, as its nearest stores are currently at least 32 miles away: Carlisle (32.7miles), Blackpool (117miles) and Ayr (134miles).
Wren’s application showed it plans to have 10 separate signs across three sides of the building.
