Headlam has said it will keep its Coleshill head office after telling shareholders it had no news on its fundraising efforts.
In a statement that closely echoed that of 14 July’s, the group says it is still in talks about the refinancing offers ‘that would, if completed on the terms currently proposed, advance additional liquidity to the group.’
It again warned shareholders that the outcome was not guaranteed.
Shareholders received better news, with trading in July up 3.5% on June, although the previous month had been down by more than a fifth on 2025.
‘Retaining the Coleshill HQ property as one of the company’s key freehold properties has been determined as part of the strategic options plan, and therefore a sale and leaseback of this asset is no longer being pursued,’ it says.
The group’s existing borrowing package is dependent on the value of its assets, including freehold properties.
